Caitie Canacakos

I’ve been on every side of this journey — from losing the weight, to competing in powerlifting meets, to earning my pro card in all-natural bodybuilding. And now, I’m living proof that you can train hard, live strong, and still enjoy the balanced, pain-free version of health.

With over 10 years of experience coaching all fitness levels, I’ve helped people transform their bodies, build strength they didn’t know they had, and create real, lasting change. I hold certifications in personal training, sports nutrition, and health coaching, which allows me to build programs that go beyond just lifting weights — they support your full lifestyle.

I created The Den in Mesa, Arizona to be a space where people train with purpose. This is where we ditch the all-or-nothing mindset, lift with intention, and push limits without breaking down the body. Whether your goal is fat loss, muscle gain, or simply feeling strong again — I’m here to guide you through it, every step of the way.

With over 16 years of experience in the fitness industry, I bring a deep understanding of human movement, strength, and performance to every client I work with. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Northern Illinois University, where I also competed as an NCAA ice hockey player—an experience that shaped my passion for discipline, resilience, and functional training.

I’m a former nationally ranked powerlifter and competitive baseball player with over eight years of experience. I've trained everyone from NFL athletes to nationally ranked powerlifters and physique athletes. With a background in strength and conditioning, corrective exercise, and personal training, I’m passionate about helping people get lean, build serious strength, and move pain-free.
